PIMP MY STREET KITCHEN

Branding | Art Direction | Identity Design
Pimp My Street Kitchen, a non-profit initiative, uses design as an agent for change, while aiming to beautifying the streets of Johannesburg, SA. Being Frank, with Fabrica, decided to help 3 informal businesses; street food vendors, to re-brand their food trailers. We launched a crowd-funding campaign to aid the purchase of new trailers. There were a number of ‘rewards’ for ‘backers’ of the campaign, each artwork inspired by each of the designs created for our ladies trailers. This is the artwork which Fabrica created for Busi, the street food vendor, inspired by her Zulu heritage.
